4/117 “They call upon instead of Him none but female [deities], and they [actually] call upon none but a rebellious Satan.”4/121 The refuge of those will be Hell, and they will not find from it an escape.
These verses implies that the “Shakthi worship” , ie the goddess worship was widely done in midddle east also at those times. But now the practice have shrinked itself to India. And the reason is vivid from the above verses.
